Creating a Dial Up Networking Connection
Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop.

Double-click on the "Control Panel" icon.

Double-click on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.

Click on the "Windows Setup" tab.

Click once on communication to select the category and then click on details.

Place a check mark next to Dial-Up Networking and click on OK and then click on OK again.

Insert your windows 98 disk and select OK. If you do not have a windows 98 disk click
OK and type in the path where the 98 files are located (on most systems the path is
C:\windows\options\cabs) and click OK. If you do not have your 98 CD or do not know
the location of the install files contact your computer manufacturer. After the install is finished
you will need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
