Fiberpipe is pleased to announce the availability of its new 5,500 square foot data center space addition. The new facility accommodates both physical Cage space for raw data center square footage, and expands the colocation cabinet space with 45U, 21U and 14U individual cabinet space availability. An additional power room has been added to support parallel redundant N+1 Liebert UPS battery backup, and is supported by a new Caterpillar Megawatt generator.

Power to individual cages and colocation cabinets is provided via dual fed, metered, Liebert Power Distribution Units with customized power whips for complete flexibility in individual power requirements.

The new data center supports up to 180 tons of Liebert air handlers utilizing a state-of-the-art energy efficient York chilled water/glycol system with redundant pumps. Fire protection is provided by a pre-action dry-pipe system that is controlled by a high-end VESDA smoke control center for advanced early stage detection.

Fiberpipe supports energy conservation by incorporating a lighting control system for lighting activation only where necessary and variable frequency drives on all motor driven equipment.
